Our understanding of problem solving and how to overcome them always follows a set direction. If society is faced with a problem, we use the current development progress to take appropriate measures until the right solution provides us with a remedy to the problem. One could argue that our repertoire of possibilities follows a fixed size. Just like the selection from a set of rules, the efforts to overcome problems are predefined and adapted to the stage of development. This process is close to our society because it is a valued practice and is therefore easier to implement. Different types of solutions or methods determine the path to actual implementation. However, the regulations do not tell us whether this approach will lead to the goal.

Our efforts in the area of environmental protection are currently not following a path to success. This is because the approach and the definition of the achievable goal do not follow a uniform strategy. There are numerous variants of projects that provide the environment with the degree of support that it has lost due to the failure of ecological processes. However, none of these approaches address the actual problem. Dynamic processes cannot be enforced by predefined solutions. 

The environment is a living construct that is constantly being redefined by external influences. Controlling complex processes requires a forward-looking strategy that leads to success through defined goals. With a conventional set of rules that only considers the problem, overlapping processes are not taken into account and therefore cannot pursue a fixed goal.

The environment can only regenerate and recultivate itself if all our efforts are supported by a higher-level system. A healthy ecosystem can take on this task because it is able to control and regulate external influences. With this support, our society could hand over the main burden of the project to nature and focus exclusively on preserving the ecosystem. This would give rise to new processes that would help our environment to flourish anew.
